RICH Lesson #1 - THINK Positive!

No one says it better than Henry Ford, "Whether you think you can or you can't - you're right."

Getting yourself in a positive mindset is the first and one of the most important steps in achieving your goals.  You have to believe in yourself and your abilities completely and visualize yourself accomplishing those goals every day.

Your mind is very powerful.  Unless you fully believe in yourself, you'll sabotage yourself and your efforts.  I walked on 2000 degree hot coals barefoot.  Yes, on purpose.  Why?  To prove to myself how powerful my mind is and if I can walk on 2000 degree hot coals barefoot with no marks or blisters on my feet, what else could I possibly be capable of?   Anything!!

Please don't go walking on hot coals unsupervised. You have to be trained and I highly recommend going to Tony Robbins' UPW.  It will change your life.

Have you noticed that when you workout and you start thinking thoughts like  "Oh man, I'm hot.  Geez, my foot hurts.  I'm tired.  I think my side hurts..."  (blah, blah, blah) that the workout is hard and painful?  The next time you start hearing that voice say those things, you STOP them and replace those thoughts with something like, "I'm STRONG, I'm POWERFUL, I can do ANYTHING I put my mind to.  I am getting STRONGER every step, every squat, etc."     Try it - it works!

In the book Psychocybernetics by Maxwell Maltz, a study was done with a professional football player who couldn't curl over 100 lbs.  He tried hundreds of times to lift over 100 lbs but he never did.  He was hypnotized and was told that he was so strong that lifting over 100 lbs was easy for him.  He then attempted to lift 125 lbs and did it on his first try.  What does that tell you about how important it is to think positive and watch the negative thoughts going through your head!?

Your R.I.C.H Action Step of the Day:  Think about something you really want to do and start believing you can do it.  Visualize yourself every day doing it and notice how happy you are and how good it feels.
